It's never worked since I opened up the computer, and I just thought I was crazy, but I've even tried it when the computers not frozen, just to take a look at all the running programs, but nothing happens at all... Is this a problem with my computer or possibly a bug?

try right clicking quick launch bar where the programs or windows are minimized and then click task manager
if the TaskManager was accidently disabled or you need to control this item for a set of standalone boxes this is for you:

* Click Start
* Click Run
* Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK
* In the Group Policy settings window
o Select User Configuration
o Select Administrative Templates
o Select System
o Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options
o Select Remove Task Manager
o Double-click the Remove Task Manager option
And as I mentioned above, since the policy is Remove Task Manager, by disabling the policy, you are enabling the Task Manager.

It could the default setting; check under your control panel for your shortcuts setting you might have to select it. If a search doesn't work, get on the phone with someone at Windows or Gateway.
