Tax avoidance,the more you earn the less you want to pay!. I am sure they are both happy to come to Scotland for a visit as long as they don't get 'copped' by Gordon Brown'.

I think that there could be several reason. Maybe there work interest is in the US. Maybe they have a duel residency. Could be they just enjoy a different type of culture for a change. I am sure that it doesn't mean anything disrespectful to Scotland. Also there is always the old questions about TAXES

That would be due to the British government taxing the hell out of anyone who is remotely successful and then not even putting the money back into the area of the UK (i.e. Scotland) that they took it from in the first place.

They work over here for the most part.
Also they tend to live in or around San Diego, or Santa Barbra, or San Fransciso. Which are some of the most beautiful places in the world to live. If you told me they were living in Detroit, or Bismarck, then I'd be shocked.

The worst thing about scotland is due to the crap english government we are forced to take all the dregs of the world and let them settle here that's why after 55 yrs i am off out of the country the bastards can have it its knackered now anyway.
