Like all addicts he is in denial about his addiction.

Actually, Rush specifically referenced those who use illegal substances.

Rush received back surgery. After back surgery, he was given pain medication. He got addicted to the pain medication, and entered re-hab before the story itself broke.

He kicked the habit, and is doing quite well now. He never used cocaine, never used heroin, and never purchased the drugs illegally. He got a prescription from his doctors.

Hope this clarifies the situation.

According to cons, he "turned himself in" to rehab!
He distincly said that they belong behind BARS

THen they will say he took LEGAL drugs...sort of like MORPHINE? -- which is stronger than heroin by the way......
And oxyconton is like morphine for anyone who doesn't know.

Cons are very ignorant. Rush is a hypocrite and junky. Why was he married so many times anyway?
He must be a HUGE @$$hole.

Like the douche bag he is he claims he does have a problem like all drug addicts. Remember he is born again Christian and can do no wrong. Use the scapegoat technique always blame someone else.

You said it in one word hypocrite. Look at his audience they have the attention span of maybe 2 minutes so anything he has done in the past has been long forgotten.
