put it in compost and water then put in the airing cupboard - my mum did this with an avacado stone and it grew! No fruit though, I think it needs to be hot to get that and mature plant.

Go to Tesco and buy a box of Medjool Dates. Dont buy any other type because they've been cooked in glucose. You get about eight in a pack. Eat all of them because they are absolutely delicious then plant the stones horizontally in some damp compost, one per pot. Place them on a south facing window sill. Can take a few months to germinate so be patient. I have a small date palm to prove that it works! Hope this helps

Better still-use stones from fresh dates,usually available from about now until Christmas. Be very patient-don't give up on them germinating until after a year !

plant in a pot of compost, seal in a plastic bag and place in warm dark place until it starts to sprout( dont forget to water it first tho) xx

just stick it in a pot of compost and water sparingly until it shoots
