Oh my gosh yes. I'm taking care of my great niece now and she'll do something like sit too close to the TV and I'll tell her that she better move back or she'll go blind. A short time later I'll remember that that's what my mom use to tell me.

Hell yeah. Scary. How can this happen? The most annoying things from my mother I seem to have picked up so easily, without even noticing, and the things I like about her, well, not that much!

the other day I told my son "Do you understand me?" It was horrible! I remember my parents telling me that when I was a teenager and I use to think to myself "you're speaking English aren't you!" God I f#cking hated that! It truly was horrible!
