Oh my gosh yes. I'm taking care of my great niece now and she'll do something like sit too close to the TV and I'll tell her that she better move back or she'll go blind. A short time later I'll remember that that's what my mom use to tell me.

Yes, I gave these two random kids a speech about respecting their elders. They rolled their eyes as they walked away. I didn't even realize how old I sounded until then. So sad...

the other day I told my son "Do you understand me?" It was horrible! I remember my parents telling me that when I was a teenager and I use to think to myself "you're speaking English aren't you!" God I f#cking hated that! It truly was horrible!
