hi my friend has just rebooted her pc and put roxio disc in to put it back on her pc and an error came up?

the error says device~1.exe and then says just below it THE NTVDM CPU just need to know what can she do to get this sorted

Sounds like it is not reading the Roxio CD. Try cleaning the CD. If that does not work, hopefully you have a backup the CD.

the version of roxio's program has to be checked. the ones for windows 95 will not work on xp..windows 2000's roxio will not work on windows NT. UNIX has a version...check the version and of course roxio always has updates on its web site. found in your instructions or google roxio.
