Married 4+ years. Two weeks ago she accused me of cheating (again). She has not spoken to me (not one word) since. In the past I have always been the one to speak first and explain and apologize. I have never been untrue to her but her ex cheated and she says all men cheat. I am no longer able to tolerate her jealous behavior. I want to leave her. How much financial responsibility do I have as her sponser?

Since you have been married 4+ years, you have the same responsibility towards her as if you married someone from here. If you decide to file for divorce, you will be responsible for alimony, child support etc. if she is entitled to it. You being a sponsor (petitioner) does not have anything to do with the issue.

Now if you have been married less than 21 months (while she is still a conditional resident), you can actually send her home.

Just for kicks, I would ask her that if she believes all men cheat, then why did she agree to marry you? To come here?

Once you've married her honey, you aren't so much her sponsor as you are her husband. She is entitled to half your stuff unless you had a prenup if you were married in the US. If not, file for divorce and buy her a plane ticket back to Manila. Sorry it didn't work out. Chalk it up as a learning experience and look on the bright side....about a million men would kill to have a wife who would shut up once in awhile!

U can wait one year until she gets what she really wants(american passport) after one year she will ask 4 divorce and set u free from any financial responsibility.

She is not in titled to anything that you had before the marriage, only ½ of what you both acquired during the marriage. Because you sponsored her before the marriage, and she could not have become a citizen in that four years, you can have her visa pulled and send her packing back home

She is your Wife. she is entitled to atleast HALF. If you live in an alimony state, she can get that as well.
