Hi. Pretty hot, but a lot of heat is shed while the shuttle is gliding. You can sometimes see the waves of heat. (If it was VERY hot it would glow in those night landings.

Cool enough to touch.
The tiles are poor conductors of heat. You can actually put the tiles in an oven and heat them to 2000 or 3000 degrees, take them out and pick them up in you bare hand.

during reentry it gets to 3000 degrees,but right after it lands you could touch it with your bare hands,the tiles are very poor conductors of heat.

it's super hot. between 1500-3000 degree Celsius, don't you think that's hot? however, after a while it will become cool enough for us to touch.
