Most likely. I am looking for some kind of originality in movies. Tired of sequels.

Not exactly. I think that the two movies were directed be different people. For the record, I think that Exorcist: the beginning was an okay movie.

Probably, sequels and prequels usually suck a*s. Pretty much all th eexorcists sucked after the first one. Same thing with TCM.
Remember Halloween 3 OMG that was rank. Wait till it comes out on DVD.

Just because one film wasn't any good that doesn't mean that the other will be too. They are completely different crews on each film and different creative minds.
