Considering how a bunch of stormtroopers wiped out most of the Jedis on "Revenge of the Sith," I'll bet on King Arthur and his knights.

Merlin is only a seer and has no special powers. Excalibur is a symbol to unite the people: it's actually not supposed to be a weapon.

The Jedi have telekinesis and lightsabers. King Arthur and a 150 knights against 151 Jedi? I predict this fight will last about a minute and a half, and it'll only last THAT long because the Jedi will keep stopping to admire each other's technique!

Remember the Jedi Council would have lightsabers and the ability to throw them about with their force powers. Plus Yoda would come out of nowhere, get the round table spinning straight at Merlin and he'd be squished.
King Arthur would make a last valiant attempt to strike at Mace Windu before Mace Windu cuts through Excalibur like a hot saber through butter. Lancelot would be thrown off by Obi Wan's dodgy posh english accent before being force arm twisted so hard his head pops off.

Jedis - 1
Camelot - 0

With equal numbers and equal weapons, King Arthur and company.
With King Arthur's 150 or so knights against the Jedi Council, King Arthur wins again, especially with Merlin's help.

King Arthur is not necessarily a totally fictional character; neither are Lancelot and Galahad.
According to church tradition, Lancelot and Galahad are the eleventh and twelfth generation descendants of Joseph of Arimathea, who is alleged to have gone to England as a missionary in the First Century.
Arthur is alleged to have been born somewhere around 500A.D., which would fit in with 12 generations of Joseph's descendants.

Jedi Council because they have better swords and they know what King Arthur is going to do before he does it.

Hmmm....I believe that the Jedi council would win. Two reasons:
1. they light sabers could cut through and deflect almost anything.
2. As one of the other people said, they have the force, and Arther has but one magician on his side....

Interesting question: but I would still go with the Jedi council: they have Yoda and are capable of doing Jedi mind tricks.

The Force For The Win.

But wait, the Jedi council was destroyed in the most recent movie. That might hamper their ability. :-)

Defiantly the Jedi Council, they have light sabers and "the force", it would be a close match, but they would defiantly win

A lightsaber would cut Excalibur in half.
