On the screen where you have to put in your password for you account, there is an account services option. But it is "very" hard to notice. It is on the blue box that you have to use to sign in. If you read the fine print on the bottom(of the blue box), they are actually options. I have never entered, but am more than sure you should be able to change your password there.

EDIT: I just tried to go to that option and thety are experiencing temporary difficulties. I wanted to find out if you can cancel hotmail accounts from there too.

Changing a password is easy! Just go to your hotmail account and go to option -> personal -> password. Then you must retype your password for security reasons. After that, you'll see your summary for your account. Click 'change' on password to change your password.
