I totally agree especially when you put it that way.

I think Tiger is upset becasue his wife wasn't ever on porno sites. Some Irish mag was making a joke, but he didn't think it was funny. I guess I can't blame him.
As far as the others go, it depends on the situation. If a star is at a premeire or a public funcion and gets pissy about having a photo taken, I think they are idiots. You are there for that reason. Howeverr, if they are coming out of a private residence or are on vacation or something, then I can see why it would bother them. Sure, you are inviting yourself into the public eye when you become a successful actor, but I think you should still be allowed some privacy in your personal life. Could you imagine not having that? I'd go mad no matter how much money I was making.

I believe some publicity is good. You need to know when to stop though. You as a person don't want someone to bother you all the time with questions and pictures. You aren't always happy or nice. That's like the celebrities. They are human!
You need to understand that and not blame them for being in the public eye. It's true, they are paid for it. But you have to realize that not everything can be brought with money.
If you were in a foreign country with a lot of restrictions, you wouldn't even be able to question anything. You need to open your eyes and see what is going on so that you can be on the right side. Taking pictures all the time and making fake pictures is not the way for us to go. It's makes journalism a sensation and nothing is real anymore.

I can't imagine why these celebrities complain about being followed everywhere they go, photogs jumping out of bushes at them, chasing them at high speeds in their vehicles, (remember Princess Diana) not being able to walk on the street without people blocking their way when they try to walk or get into their vehicle, trying to sunbathe in your own back yard with people hiding in your trees just to get a pic of you, trying to get married without the whole world watching. Why wouldn't you want someone following your children, taking their pictures and publishing your address etc etc. Gee what's wrong with these people?
Just because they are are celebrities it doesn't give us the right to have access to their lives 24-7. What does their wage have to do with it? Would you want some idiot poking into your life and abusing your privacy every day of your life? I think not.
As for Tiger Woods, I think a few other people may have set you straight on that one. I'm not a Tiger fan, but I can sympathize with his and his family's feelings.

I think you're out of line. Tiger Woods had every right to complain. Dubliner magazine forged those photographs. They have admitted they were forged and that the article was meant to be satirical. His wife used to be a model but not on porn sites. This has caused great distress to his family.
And so what if celebs don't make any Real contribution to society as you say. This doesn't give us the right to abuse them.

I think they should stop complaining. They are making millions of dollars and they know what comes with being a celebrity. Having no privacy does suck but being rich and famous should make up for that. They make more money that doctors, surgeons, teacher's etc. and do half the work. There are so many poor people in the world in here are celebrities spending their money on stupid things like shopping sprees and thousand dollar beach bags! I say we invade their privacy as much as possible!

Actually Tiger Woods is complaining that an Irish newspaper has falsely reported that his wife appeared on porn sites. Which he has every right to do, I can't imagine anyone not complaining about that!

We all have a reasonable expectation of privacy in our lives, but the Supreme Court has upheld the idea that this reasonable expectation does not extend to public situations. In defense of celebrities they are subject to constant harassment by paparazzi and tabloids. However, when you chose to live your life in the spotlight you give up certain privacy concerns. This may not be right, but it is a reality none the less.

It is the pulic that make them the way that they are.... Once they get the money the big house & the rewards for being popular they get tired & then resent the people who put them there. it is sad as I have met some real down to earth people who are famous & I have also delt with pigs who think that just because they are on TV they can treat people how they want... they don't normally last long with a bad attitude.
