If your menstruation is sooo heavy.... then maybe its hemorrhage already and cannot be considered a normal period. I heard some people who uses pills or injectibles do not have menstruation for a period of time and its considered normal. but do consult your OB-GYNE immediately for proper attention.

I had the same problem after I stopped taking the depo provera shot & my doctor told me that sometimes after you go for a long time without having a period that some are usually heavier than others & I might also experiance cramping ( which I did ) but you might also want to check with your gyn I have fibroids now that cause my cycle to be irregular & very heavy & I cramp extremely bad the first few days

I know exactly what you are going through, I used to go through the same thing. to solve my problem I started getting the Depo-Provera shot, this birth control shot taken every 3 months will take your period down to spotting, or no period at all. with no worries of getting pregnant and if you get off the shot it takes 10 months to a year to get it back, and you have vertually no cramps. you really should look into it.

Don't delay. Take a pregnancy test from nearby walk-in clinic. If it's negative then consult your family docotr or gynaec. It will never stop unless u take some medicine. It's my experience

fibroids and a condition called aneomyois and cancer can cause heavy periods as well as hormonal imbalances can cause this too, see your doctor to identify the cause and get treatment as this can lead to anemia and serious other problems , cancer unchecked leads to death.

it could possibly be because you were on the pill, it could also be another problem possibly endometriosis or other gynecological problems
