Don't say, I think, in my opinion or any of those things. It's weak sounding. It makes it sound like there may be better ways to do the task, or a better explanation than yours. BE FORCEFUL.

Instead of saying, I think kids should get less homework because... or even worse, It's JUST my opinion that.....

Say it boldly, "Kids should get less homework because..." Don't worry, you'll still get plenty of argument and not only will everyone know it is "only your opinion," they will be more than happy to point it out to you.

Often, speakers will use words like "evidentally" or "clearly" when they are offering their opinions, implying that their conclusion is one any rational person would make, without actually saying that.
