My friend has switched to a new dvr and is selling it. It is about 4 months old and is in great working condition. The subscription is not included with it.

i guess it depends on how many hours it can hold. if its 4 months old, its probably an 80 hour box. i dont know if tivo still has the lifetime service offer, thats what i bought with mine.....

if you sign up for 3 years of service, they GIVE you the box for free.... so, i think i'd pass on the used box. just my opinion.
check out the tivo website. good luck!
