My favourite characters are Data from "Star Trek, The Next Generation" because he's ultra cool and Mulder from The X Files, he's unique, not afraid of what other people think and is very interesting.

Star Trek: The Next Generation. Even though I grew up with the original Star Trek series and I enjoyed it very much, ST:TNG was done better in every way. The acting and production values were much higher, and the storylines were every bit as good as classic Trek. Although the first episodes of ST:TNG are now close to 20 years old, they still look great.

I liked all the characters on ST:TNG except for Wesley Crusher. I hated his character as well as the plot devices that made him the smartest person on the ship.

Many years ago, there was a one-season show called "The Time Tunnel" that I really liked. No one ever mentions it anymore.

Dr Who - space travelling time lord who eats jelly babies - how cool is that (to a 7yr old at that time!)
But as an overall programme I'd probably have to go with Firefly. It was never screened on TV here, so only saw it on DVD after having seen Serenity - think it was genuinely a great loss that there wasnt and isnt ever likely to be a second series.

Star Trek the Next Generation, because it had better graphics than the original, but still had great character development, before the others that came after.

Star Trek the Next Generation, Patrick Stewart as Capt. Picard, something about that smooth bald head and the accent. Oh and David Tennant in Dr Who, be even better if he spoke in his own accent, looks like there's a pattern here - I'm an accents lady!

Sure , they are good, but I like Malcolm Renalds of Firefly the best. He has his own ship and answers to no one. His crew is his family and friends. TV episode Serenity and Out of Gas and The Message were the best shows.

Mine was spock from the original star trek. Why? Cos it was unique in its day, and advanced.
