You are dreaming, you just don't remember them. The reason you probably remember them when you take a nap or oversleep is because you probably wake up or are woken up suddenly, while in the middle of deep sleep and a dream. You should actually take this as a good sign that you are getting plenty of sleep, because it seems like you are rarely woken out of a deep sleep. If you wake up naturally most of the time you aren't going to remember your dreams. If you don't believe this and are still worried that you don't dream, you could always go to a sleep specialist and stay there overnight and be hooked up to a machine that will reassure you that you are indeed dreaming. But the fact that you say you dream when you take a nap or oversleep shows you that you do dream so there should really be nothing to worry about.

It just means that your unconscious is not all that accessible by your conscious. Your conscious can't recall your unconscious dreams. This is common.

Some people can train themselves to remember their dreams by leaving a paper tablet or a voice activated recorder near their bed with the intention of recording dreams. Setting an alarm at various times during the night will cause you to interrupt dreams and recall them. The interesting thing is that when you wake up and listen to the recorder or read the tablet, you may not remember recording your dreams.

Ho theres good. I dream too much, can't sleep well.

-Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said.
-When did you first notice this problem?
-What problem?

One more joke:

A guy calls his vet and says "What should I do with my cat?Vet says "What do you mean? Guy says "I had a leak in my lawnmowers gas tank and the cat drank the gas. Then the cat began to run around and around the yard, climbed a tree. then fell out of the tree stiff. Vet says "Is the cat dead? Guy replies "nope he ran out of gas.

Last of all just want to tell you that whatever you do, just don't give up. Also you must love and care for the people around you. In that way they will also show you the love that you show to them. Just be yourself and happy everyday. Wish you all the best and good luck!!

Everyone dreams. Dreaming activates the short term memory area of the brain. You're not likely to remember the vivid details a dream can have (or the dream itself) for very long after waking up. Dreaming takes place during REM sleep, the deepest phase of sleep. You are most likely to recall dreams if you awake during this phase, but you're least likely to wake up during REM because you are so deeply alseep!

I think you probably do dream but don't remember them. I remember reading that your mind is somewhat unloading when you dream. To sleep is to give rest to your body but your mind is active all the time. It would see that if you didn't dream, you'd face some sort of mental collapse because your mind would be overloaded with all the thats happening up there.

It's not that you aren't dreaming. You just aren't remembering your dreams. You're more likely to remember you dream if you wake during REM sleep.
