My partner is Aries, He can be very domineering (he can try but he doesnt succeed!!!), also sometimes very selfish, arrogant and self centred. He can also be very loving and affectionate when he isnt having one of his moods. Do you blame the person for having these characteristics or is it all down to his star sign!!!??? I know this sounds a silly question but if he was born to be like this, he obviously wont be able to change his moods will he!!?? Im also a pisces so i probably can be very sensitive when he tries to be domineering. Anyone else out there in my situation with partner of same star sign and are they exactly the same personality wise!!??

Your zodiac sign has nothing to do with your personality. If your partner is selfish, then he is selfish and it is something he needs to work on improving. People can't go on around blaming their stars for their crappy personalities or behavior. What a sorry excuse. People have got to start taking responsibility for their own actions.

My brother is an Aries & yes, they do tend to be a little like that ... does he also want absolutely everything & go through about a thousand different interests with the attention span of a child? He also tends to think that the world revolves around him, but can be very sweet & loving with his wife and would move the sun, moon & stars for her. Star signs can be a good guideline for personality traits sometimes, but I think people can use them as an excuse for their behaviour at times and we must of course allow for individuality - the entire population cannot be divided into 12 exact personality types. Generally speaking Aries & Pisces can have a pretty difficult time understanding each other in relationships, but usually get along very well as friends. This, however, just means that you'd need to work on things, not necessarily give it up. Good luck.

I am Aries and my partner is Pisces. I am quite a 'typical' Aries personality, I can be domineering and selfish but I am very loving and caring. I find the relationship works very well as my Pisces fella is so laid back my strops don't faze him and he understands to let it blow over and show me he cares.
I think personality types can be dominated by star signs but I also think people can take control of their behaviour and make some changes. I know my behaviour can get out of hand if I let it so am careful to think rationally and think of others feelings too. Have you talked to your partner about this? Aries are stubborn but caring, if he knows he sometimes hurts your feelings he will want to stop doing it.

he is a typical aries and yes he will not be able to change his moods...here is the reason...aries are the most emotional sign...these people are either HIGH AND HAPPY or DOWN AND SUICIDAL...he is not doing it because he is selfish...he is just so emotional that he is not able to 'get up' when he is SOOO DOWN... that is why it is effecting u too...because when he is having a bad day, everything and everyone is crushing down in his world...that's why the best thing for you is to try leaving him alone for some time when he is having a bad day...because he really really needs that time to pick himself up and feel good...but here is a positive side-when he is happy...THE WHOLE WORLD IS HAPPY..and he will make sure that you are happy together with him. the fact that he is selfish is true, but the positive side is if feels that you need help, he will do anything to help you. aries are very contradictive. they are hot and cold, kind and angry, young and old, etc..nothing in between. his moods are what is making him so full of life and passion. very interesting sign.

He's a classic Aries male.
You birth sign doesn't excuse your behaviour as an adult. As an adult you have choice.
Aries men are bad for all the things you described. They can be foolish and unappreciative too which is what it sounds like now.
Pisces is the last star sign and aries is the first. You are the wise one and he is the fool which sort of means you'll have to put up with being the grown up and keep him in line.

These are the outer characteristics, the facade or front of many an Aries male. Yet within the charging ram fears becoming the slaughtered lamb. Maybe that's why so many Aries burn out around 40. If you really love him than use your Pisces water to cool him off when he needs it most.

Many people use the zodiac signs as an excuse to be domineering. There is a difference between Dominance, a natural born trait, and domineering, which is a safety seeking trait used by those who are unsure of themselves. They have a tendancy to overcompensate their fear by acting buligerant and strong. I would say you have to figure out if this is the case, then go from there. If you are truely in love with the person, then you will have to make allowances, as well as compromises in the relationship, or flat out tell him to cool it, or loose you. Hope this helps.

Hey lady, i so know what you mean, i am Pisces and my partner is Aries, and he is just like what you put in your question,arrogant and self centred, to say the lest. Moody, i have never meet a person who is so moody. Carolina there will be many examples of people who are typically Aries. There are only 12 star signs, 1/12th of the planet are statistically Aries. Of those millions there is bound to be thousands of typical Aries
There is only one of your boyfriend though so don't make any excuses for him. He sounds immature and needs to grow up. Smack the little SOD.
