don't bother dividing by 100 and then multiplying by 360. Just multiply by 3.6

Eg 75/100*360 = 270
75*3.6=270

RE:
How do you convert from percent to degrees?

If you are regarding to slope, as in signs that say, "Caution 4% Grade Next 2 Miles" then the percent is what poriton of a 90 degree is being talked about.

So 90 Degrees will equal 100%, 0 Degrees will equal 0%.

Multiply the percent (in decimal form) by 90 (degrees).

50% = .50x90 = 45 Degrees.
4% = .04x90 = 3.6 Degrees.

It depends on what you're taking a percentage of.

To do so set:
100 % = x degrees
1% = x/100 degrees, where x is the number of degrees you're taking a percentage of (90 for right angle, 360 for a circle...)

This is an easy one.
You just have to know that 360° = 100%
e.g 75% = 100% / 100 X 75
= 360° /100 X 75 = 270°

( I Belgium we call this method "the rule of two") I hope you understand.

suppose u wanna find out 45% of 360 degree

then u shud solve it as

( 45/100 ) * 360 = 162 degree
----------------------------------------------
again suppose u wanna find out 10% of 90 degree

then write
(10/100) * 90 = 9 degree.
