I think it's absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. If Bush went to the UN and started calling somebody the devil people would be calling for impeachment. I don't see how anyone can defend Chavez for making these remarks. It was childish, it was rude, it was definitely inflammatory..and furthermore, it's not the truth. It seems like other countries are allowed to badmouth the U.S. all they want to, and they have all the license to do that with no repercussions, but if anyone in the U.S., especially the president, says a word about other countries, then he's portrayed as the bad guy. It's my understanding Chavez has a treaty with Iran and that is why he is so upset that Bush is calling for sanctions if Iran doesn't shut down some of their programs that could be deadly for us.

People at the U.N. meetings should have got up and
walked out in protest........the idea that they would
applaud anyone who used such insults to any other
head of state (even Bush didn't stoop that low) is
abhoring. Then the media, of course, had to have
him on their news shows and kiss his fanny. Bah,

I think the UN should pack up and move to venezula or another country that is more inline with the UN's appeasement veiws.

He has a right to an opinion and to express it. I have a right to disregard it.
Americans also need to have a thicker skin if we are going to do the things we do internationally...

He at least had a world audience to speak his mind and much of what he said is true .
Bush is a devil and murderer and has attempted to overthrough him several times .
The lies have gone to epic perportion and you know it .
People spin tails that just grow larger and larger each day to cover there own agendas .

Get it right... Chavez was NOT attacking Americans, he spoke of a certain Devil, who you might be shocked to know many people agree with his assertion.
