Here's a genuine answer. Go to see the clairvoyant to satisfy your curiosity. But whatever they tell you, whether it rings true or not, remember that no one is in control of your future but YOU.

What a clairvoyant sees about the future is just the most likely scenario based on where you are now (trust me on this, its too convoluted to explain here) You still have choice and free will if its not the future you want for yourself. This is important to know becuase otherwise the things she tells you (presuming you believe them) may become self-fulfilling prophecies.

It's easy to dismiss clairvoyants as frauds. However, I went to visit a friend who claimed to be a clairvoyant (not her living but she said the dead spoke to her) and my grandfather suddenly appeared to her. It was very distressing, actually. And no, there was no money involved. And I'd never told her anything bout my grandfather - he'd been dead for 20 years and died a horrible death which she correctly described. He'd drowned.
So be sensible, but be wary.

I tried several of the phone-line ones,a few brilliant and others were rubbish. Tell the person as little as possible about your life. Ask a question only you and the people who passed over would know the answer to. Such as:" ask (name) if they remember the first pet we have", or an old neighbour...that kind of thing. Good luck.Wish I was going to see them !

You are going to see cold reading in action (see http://www.skepdic.com/coldread.html )
you will find yourself answering most of the questions asked and the "psychic" will throw your responses back at you, in his own words, as *his* answers.
You will mostly hear what you want to hear, and much of it will be positive ("psychics" don't want to put you off of consulting them again) but he may also give you some worrying stuff too, and imply that he knows how to get rid of your worries.

you may see some warm reading, if you're lucky... this is where the "psychic" goes out of his way to learn something about you in advance. this is beneficial for the "psychic" as a few well placed hints about things you didn't expect him to know about, could makes you more gullible more quickly.

The most important thing you are going to find out is how to make money disappear from your purse......... Learn well

Let this person do the talking, if they're good you really don't need to tell them anything, they will know! And don't give too many info about yourself!!

You can record what he says and listen to it again when you get home because you dont really take it in when you're there.
