Yep if you blow something up (dynamite, cocktail bomb etc. )and you get caught Im sure there will be some consequences somewhere.
If your just talking about blowing things out of proportion by exaggerating details than no.

If it has to do with a criminal case then you could get arrested if you're on the stand testifying and you don't tell the truth..
