To love is to take the good with the bad. Its about respect and sharing. If you truely love someone you care for them more than you care for yourself. Its about taking their feelings into account and comprimising no matter what the circumstances. Love is a meeting of the minds and not just about a physical attraction. Love can make you happy, sad, angry or jealous. It can make you feel every emotion you are capable of. Love is about wanting and accepting someone for who they are. To love is a great feeling and the only feeling thats better, is knowing you are loved in return.

Infatuation is usually mistaken for love.
There is a saying that love is completely selfless. If you TRULY love someone, you expect NOTHING of them and have no desire to control them. True love would never try to force somebody to do something that they don't want to do.
That said, there are other conventions to consider, such as marriage and cohabitation. Marriage is not the same as love. The goal of marriage is for two people to be better off together than apart, and to make an effort to remain special to one another. But there are also practical things that have nothing to do with love, such as cleanliness, chore sharing, money, etc. These things are totally removed from love. It is quite possible that two people who don't love one another (but are very compatible housemates) could live more happily together than two people who madly love one another (but have very different views on house matters.)

Love is a psychological state of mind, strong enough to keep you engaged in a wastage of energy which could better be utilised for building a better society or nation.
if you win your love you feel on seventh sky otherwise you feel the most miserable on this earth despite all comforts.

My opinion on love is that love does not exist. People put some much time in love and in the end they will get hurt. People who are in love are not really, they just think they are. Why be in love... So you can get hurt in the end.
