yes there is a way. i don't know if a doctor would do it though for a non-health related reason. you can take progesterone pills for a couple days. this usually tricks your body into thinking it is time to start menstruating. it is usually done when a woman's period is very irregular and heavy (from irregular ovulation). keep in mind the hormones can make you weepy and irritable (like PMS).
how far away is your vacation? i have heard of women on birth control skipping the blank pills (which brings on menstration) and starting the next pack so they wouldn't get their period on their honeymoon. this takes some planning though, so if you are leaving next week, you are out of luck.

A form of chemical birth control, i.e. the pill, is one of the only ways to do that short of being on antibiotics.

get married , after I got married my ex-wife had her period often and early , it seen like ever time I wanted to have sex she was on her period
