It's amazing how much they are doing to the city. You must see it to believe it! Here are a few photos as proof:

First, we start with the wonderful restoration of the Madison theatre. The new gleam of the plaster is astonishing!

Now we move on to the United Artist theater. The renovation work is so astonishing here I've enclosed two pictures

Next we have the Adams theater. This prime Detroit venue has
been restored to its original gleam, and is enjoyed by tourists
from the entire midwest.

As you can see, Detroit spares no expense renovating classic
movie palaces to attract suburbanites and tourists as well.
We commend the Historical Society for the great renovations work, as they turn Detroit into the world-class city it is.

My grandpa would say, ask Coleman Young what happened to all the tax dollars. There is some renewal of Detroit around Wayne State University, Tiger Stadium, Cobo hall. It's there. It is done by private investors.

Your sarcasm was obviously over some people's heads, but that is to be expected on Answers. Compared to Detroit, Baltimore and Philly are paradises. Detroit would be a perfect fit in the Garbage State.

I can't fault you for loving your own city, however. Everyone should be proud of his home, especially when people are working hard to improve it.

are you freaking kidding me its a **** hole as far as i am concerned the earth can open up and swallow detroit,crime and drugs and abandoned homes crack head prostitutes the list goes on detroit use to be beautiful in its day but thats over now.
