I have get bad in grown hairs and razor bumps due to shaving as well as increasigly bad skin. I have tried lots of stuff-included exfoliating daily and washing my face numerously. I tried using a after shave directed towards a better looking face but that isnt working either. Is there anyone out there that has some good advise for making my skin look better and having an easier shave. Also, what factors have a negative impact on your skin? (ie. smoking, drinking, eating habits?)

I know this is a dumb question but can white people use products made for black people?

My husband had a lot of trouble with ingrown hairs, plus his skin was so sensitive that he was always bleeding after he shaved. Finally he decided to just let it grow, and I love it that way! He never wants to shave again, and I'm delighted with that. Shaving is just a fashion thing anyway - there are no really good reasons to do it, and my husband has about an extra hour a week for other things.

I had serious shaving bumps for years until I learnt to use neither shaving cream nor aftershave. For more than 10 years now, I have not had the problem after I adopted this technique which frankly I worked out on my own after failing to find good advice. Instead of shaving cream, I just use pure soap and warm to hot water. I then use a sharp disposable razor and then rinse it all with clean water and towel, then bingo! clean shave.

It might help you also...
