Some of them are brainwashed. The programs such as Al Qaeda and Hezbollah are not all that of what the Western Media shows them to be. Like how Hezbollah helping out the residents of Lebanon after the wreckage between the war of Hezbollah and Israel. Al Qaeda is not all of what they're portrayed in the Western Meddia either. Besides the video which the FBI supposedly recovered of Osama Bin Laden admitting to the attack was not all that credible either. Since in the FBI's profile of Usama (correct spellin) Bin Laden it's written that he's left handed but in the video you see him writing with his right hand and you can barely make out the face (Source: Loose Change, 2nd edition)
Here's a quote:
Our message is clear, obvious and decisive: there is no escape for you unless you withdraw from our land, unless you stop stealing our oil and wealth and stop supporting the corrupt rullers...The fact that Bush, Rice and Rumsfeld are hiding is that there is no exit from Iraq except in Immediate withdrawal. Any delay in taking that decision means but more dead, more losses. If you don't leave today, certainly you will leave tomorrow, but after tens of thousands of dead and double the number or disabled and wounded.
The same propaganda and lies that they circulated about Vietnam are being repeated today in Iraq. They told you they would give the Vietnamese control over their own affairs and that they were defeding freedom in Vietnam.
-Ayman al-Zawahri, Al Qaeda's number two man, in an August 4, 2005 video address
From Adbusters Nov/Dec 2005 # 62
In regards to your other questions, they are out to wipe out all other religions, because they see Islam as the one true religion and that is what the Bush administration is fighting so much. Bush admitted that they're in 'a war for civillisation' . All we're seeing now is a continuation of the Crusades that began so long, long ago in Medieval times. It's a war over the Holy land in the Middle east. The only way to get past that is a true understanding of their own religion. That goes with Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism.
They don't understand themselves so they hate others. It's a vicious cycle. When we choose to end the violence within ourselves. Then our perspectives of 'peace' and solutions for conflict appear to be a little bit more harmonious.

Islamic extremists hate infidels. If you are not a part of Islam in their eyes you must be converted or destroyed. I don't know why so many people cannot accept this, they state it themselves all the time. Too many people in the Western world think that you can appease these people. We can't! This concept has been tried, and has failed numerous times over the last 30 years. Acts of terror have escalated in scale and number. Yet, on a daily basis I see people posting to the effect that it is all our fault, if we were someone more understanding, or if we left their lands they would leave us alone. Wake up before it is too late. Leaving the Middle East is not going to stop terrorism. Not supporting Israel is not going to stop terrorism. The only practical course given what history has taught is that we must take them to task for their actions. They cannot be allowed to act with impunity. If you want to stop terrorism in the world support the efforts of freedom. As people become free from oppression, world views change, and tolerance grows.

Muslims know how to live with others peacefully, and they love that, but they are being pushed unto end of what they can bear. That is the reason of so-called terrorism. For example, let us assume that you are Iraqi indigine, and just america invade your country just killing your family, friends and relatives, bombarding your house, roads, mosques, schools. What would you do if something like that happen to you? I do not think that you will stay arm folded watching this madness happening in your home.
America used atomic bomb to nuke japan in order to bring an end the WWII and for japanese surrender. It was left as a last thing they can do to stop the massive killings during the war. But if you look very careful, it causes too much harm to human being, and never of its kind happen on this earth. May be it is left the only way to tackle the incursing by the terrorist to take that action.
No justice, no peace

Muslims do not hate anyone! Its the policies that they do not like which are having an effect on the lives of millions of people in the Muslim world. Islam teaches tolerance and this can be seen by the way the prohet Muhammad (s) lived with Jews and Christians in peace. Have an open mind, don't always believe everything in the media. Reserch things for yourself. Theres two sides to every story. Find out for yourself who Muhammad was and if you are sincere you will come to your own independent conslusion.

Since the Islamist doctrine cons the extremists into believing that if they die in the name of Islam they will go to a better place and be surrounded by willing virgins, it is obvious that as most of them are off their trolleys, that they are inherently very dangerous people. But as for "evil". Nobody that stupid can be classed as evil, though I wouldn't be happy to meet any of them on the street during the day, and certainly not at night.

True they probably hate the governments worse than the people but don't forget that they have openly declared that it is acceptable to kill innocent civilians and that is what is being done.
The London bombings, 9-11, and Madrid were not aimed at military or even government installations. They were aimed at civilians only.

Extremists really hate all infidels. They say it all the time. It's more then foreign policy they hate. They think our way of life is evil. Allowing gays to go about their business. Letting women wear bikinis at the beach.
