Vanessa is mixed race. Her mom is from the Philippines and her dad is american..I just noticed that some other celebrities that are part Filipinos(is this right?)or philippinos?) looked like Latinas or Hispanic.(just like you,,that's why you assumed she is spanish right?). Vanessa minillo(mtv vj) and nicole of pussycat dolls are also from the Philippines(at least their moms are)I watched TRL and learned that Cassie is Filipino too! Random Huh? =p

actually she is extremely mixed raced.
Her father, Greg Hudgens, is of Irish and Native American descent and her mother, Gina Guangco, was born in the Philippines and is of Filipino, Chinese and Spanish descent.
