That question is too general and there are too many variables to answer. You are going to have to do research before you can come up with a possible answer to this ?. Check out small bus. sites, they will have helpful info. Whatever kind of bus. you are wanting to open, check into that industry, talk to others who have opened that type of business, both those who made it and those who failed; and ask them why they think they are a thriving bus. or why they didn't make it. Location is important also, you'll want to figure rent into the cost if you are going to start out by renting an office/store. Sit down and think about everything possible you will need to do this type of work and go from there. Good luck, have fun.

It would depend on the type of business that you are wanting to start and the equipment that you would need, check out SBA website they have calculators that will help you determine where to start and how to figure out what you would need! If you are interested in a small business with no start up cost check out this website www.makemoney.vjms.net Best of Luck!

That can't possibly be answered here. First you would have to know the business and the equipment needed. Then there are the operating expenses. There are to many factor to give you a number here. Sorry there is just not enough info to answer that question.
