I got a Master's in British Lit and I loved every second of it! I spent a whole semester in Europe studying. Don't get an MBA; they're a dime a dozen!

Most people who take up MBA are supervisors, manager, entrepreneur, who want to be enterpreneurs, who are preparing or wanting to be managers someday. Ofcourse there are those who just want to study MBA. Basically you will learn more about the business world. You will study economics, financial management, production management, ... etc.

It is useful though even if your not yet a manager or don't have a business. You will understand the industry you work in. You will learn to be more critical at what you buy and how to manage your financials.

I majored in Health Science Admin and here in Cali that is a very competitive market. It has been difficult finding a job. I am in the process of going back to school for nursing... because i need to make more $$$$$$.
If you are interested in business you should go for it. It is a bigger market and you should find a job a lot easier..

I think it is use full if you can broaden/expand your knowledge also with the business world and not limiting it to English literature, though you may think you don´t need it now but in the yow may find it use full having also basic knowledge of the business world.mind you! no knowledge is ever a waste but not knowing about it(ignorance) is the waste.
