From what I've seen, publicily they seem so supportive of each other and empathetic. When they're talking for real, they speak as bad or worse as "homophobics" when talking about the other sex and their preferences. What's up with that?

I don't know but I do know in the gay bars when ever any lesbians would come in the gays would be nice and friendly but would secretly wish they would go away.
I do not think for a minute that all gays are this way. I am G0y and personally I have no problems with lesbians neither do any of my fellow g0y that I know about. In fact our website is supportive of lesbians on the whole.

I'm a lesbian and my closest friend is a gay male. I think it's easier to talk to a gay male about relationship and life becuase they seem to understand more than straight girls or guys. I will support gay, lesbians, transgender and bisexual people in public and in private.

personally, my partner and I are very supportive. we have lots of lesbian AND gay friends. we all get along great and hang out with each other all the time.
I don't actually know anyone, gay or lesbian, who disses the opposite sex like that. we consider them all "family."

I'm gay, but I don't base my opinion of anyone based upon their sexual orientation. But then, I'm not some kid either.
