I dated this guy in college 3 years ago for a few months and we were great together. One day he just stopped talking to me.I assumed that he was afraid of a serious relationship thats why he broke it off.I ended up moving away and hadn't talked to him until recently.I found him on myspace. He immediately moved me to #2 on his friends list. His song on his page is a song that reflects our situation.I live 8 hours away from him and have a new baby, yet he calls me every night saying how he wants to get back together and how he misses how we were and how he's settled down a lot. He's in his mid 20's(i dunno if that matters or not).It really surprised me that he still has feelings for me,especially after the fact that I told him a had a baby and he still wants to have a relationship.I'm not sure if he's willing to move or not but he knows that I can't.I really like him and it seems like he really likes me but I wonder if he is ready to settle down.

Just stay friends for now and see how it goes. There's really no rush is there? If it's for real and forever then it will last. You can't lose something you never had in the first place.

Unless you see bigger changes don't do it, man tend to talk, talk, talk, and when it comes to being face to face with the situation then they back up. Don't make it easy for him, otherwise he is going to think that He can do whatever and you will deal with it. Why are you #2 on his list, if you asked me you should be #1 if he really cared about you as he says he does.

Sounds like a good possibility. I would suggest some face to face interaction though. Get a feel for how he is in person, see if he is genuine. Then if he still wants to try it and you feel the same way go for it.

Where is the father of the baby? This is an iffy situation and I would not count on it. Then, think of the possibility of losing the child.
