I thought it was going to be juicy, but I thought it was a fuss about nothing

They kept beeping out names of managers of clubs. Who where they. I have a funny feeling one of them was Alex Ferguson. I would have payed good money to watch it if they had stitched him. Got the feeling there was a lot they couldn't say because of the lack of firm evidence

Not being interested in football I did not watch it a lot but I did find a guy who I think must have been an agent and who called himself an east end Jew quite interesting. He distinguished between money paid before the contract was complete and money paid after. Before was a bribe or a "bung" and after was just a present. It appeared to satisfy his conscience at least. this sort of thing goes on all the time in all areas of business so I don't se why football should be any different

Were we supposed to be suprised that English football is corrupted?
I'd be more suprised if they told us it wasn't along with every league in the world.

Not enough concrete evidence for me, it's all going to go to court and the BBC will probably get a kicking. They should have kept it under investigation untill they had some genuine video showing deals, managers involvement, etc and then shown it.

On the programme I was. They just targeted one person, and at the end it said 18 managers including the past were involved but were not mentioned, so that upset me a bit.

I thought they might of made another prgramme, with more managers or something but NO. I am gutted for Sam, who was on the hit squad's list

Not in the least bit surprised, and wouldn't be if it was much worse than they were able to discover. I imagine, football, like all big business, is as corrupt as it is possible to get away with.

Yes its seemed to lack any hard evidence of wrongdoing aprt from the tapping up of the young Middlesborough player. But let's face it, it goes on.

It was a real let down. They didn't catch any of the managers 'in the act' on film.

You were suckered by the pre-publicity.
Imagine that - a Nigel believing what he sees in newspapers and telly previews.
Not unlike England sides in major competitions?
Cont. ad infinitum.
