I've taken some paracetomol and ibuprofen for my period pain, but I'm feeling really depressed and I want to have some wine.

I've already tried sitting in the park in the sunshine, and I had some hot chocolate, but it didn't help to cheer me up, so now I'd really like some alcohol.

Do you know if it's safe?

Alcohol is an DEPRESSANT so it won't make you feel better but worse.

Try riding a bike, going for a jog or playing tennis or basketball or something. Exercise brings out the "good" chemicals from your brain which both suppress pain AND make you feel "happy" or good. So try that...you'll find your period pain is much better too.

I had a friend who died from mixing alcohol and pain killers. His heart enlarged and he just collapsed dead one day.

I have did it before not realizing that I just took a pain killer for a Headache. I had a Bailey's Irish Cream. Nothing didn't happen. I would not reccomend it.

If you are feeling for some alcohol you need to let the Pain Killer do it's job and then go and have you Alcohol.....I wouldn't advise you taken it right after you just took a pill.

If you are asking the question then you must know that is not the right thing to do.

Think Wisely. This is your life that could be at state.

Its probably not that great for you, but I think you'll be okay. Ive had wine with Vicodin (hydrocodone) before, which is a controlled painkiller and I was fine....
Obviously, just one glass though!!!
