why do skater guys wear girl pants if they need room to do their stuff?

They wear spandex. Cloth would restrict movement. They say there are no stupid questions...but.....

They don't! I dunno where you're living but there's some strange skaters!
I go down the skatepark here and they all wear normal jeans.
