It makes me sick that people like Shiraz have no respect for anyone's military service. BUT he loves the war in Iraq.

If he supports all these wars.....why isn't he out fighting too?

Isn't it hypocritical, for able bodied adults like Shiraz, to sit around on the internet all day hawking war....and not fighting the war himself?

Your "question" is more LIES,HALF TRUTHS, AND INNUENDOS thrown against the wall to cause a foul smell in hopes of irritating the readers against Shiraz instead of you (the SPREADER OF THE BS) Your comment,as if it were fact, like Shiraz didn't spend a day in the military) Is a bald faced black lie. Your statement that he loves the war in Iraq is a half truth, if not a total lie. Your statement that he supports all these wars is a lie. (you have no way of knowing if he supports them all, therefore it is a lie) SEE----THE ENTIRE QUESTION IS BASED ON LIES, WHICH IS BS TO PEOPLE WHERE I COME FROM.

Some people think military action is the ultimate solution to a problem, no matter what the costs. These people, though, are not of a sound mind, to be sure.

I daresay Shiraz just gets off trolling the Answer board because he's been ineffective and ridiculed on the message boards too frequently. ;-)

Hey.....***wipe, you leave my buddy Shiraz alone!

How do you know if he served? The guy could be honorably discharged for all you know.

Granted, his questions and answers make me roll my eyes, but this is still America, you can post whatever you want. I get a big kick razzing him about his drinking ;).

I've got your back Shiraz old buddy :)

People who do not know how bad war is, are the first ones are calling for it. It is the mantra of the republicans. Have a look at their so-called leadership.

Bush
Cheney
Rumsfeld

and cohorts such as

Limpbaugh
Hanity
Coulter-geist
Bildo O'Reiley

have never spent a single day in the military, let alone combat. And don't anyone dare to tell me that they regards the TANG as military. That is a tax-payer sponsored flying club for some rich daddy's brads to get their license for free.

War is like any other government program. People love to talk about it in theory. Just do not bother them with the details.

It is not their head being shot off; it is the head of some kid from South Central Los Angeles whose name they will never know. It is not their dead body being dragged through the streets of some Third World stink hole they had never heard of when they enlisted; it is the dead body of some coal miner’s son from West Virginia whose name they will never know.

Many of the Americans who support America’s policy of perpetual war have never served one day in the military. Most of the pundits, politicians and policymakers who promote and vote for America’s troop presence in 130 countries, as well as the Iraq war fall into this category.

Dick Cheney is a classic example. While those less fortunate and well-connected than he were doing the “getting-shot-at thing” in Vietnam, the young Mr. Cheney “had other priorities.” There is a black wall in Washington, DC, with 58,000 names on it. Most of these folks also “had other priorities”, too.

If you want to understand the attitude of people like him, just look at those they choose to be their leaders. I’ll go to my grave saying one thing and one thing only on John Kerry’s behalf: for better or worse, he put himself in harm’s way for four-and-a-half months. All while Bush was busy half-heartedly protecting Texas from the Viet-Cong invaders.

Generals gathered in their masses,
just like witches at black masses.
Evil minds that plot destruction,
sorcerers of death's construction.
In the fields the bodies burning,
as the war machine keeps turning.
Death and hatred to mankind,
poisoning their brainwashed minds.
Oh lord, yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away.
They only started the war.
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor, yeah.

Time will tell on their power minds,
making war just for fun.
Treating people just like pawns in chess,
wait till their judgement day comes, yeah.

Now in darkness world stops turning,
ashes where the bodies burning.
No more War Pigs have the power,
Hand of God has struck the hour.
Day of judgement, God is calling,
on their knees the war pigs crawling.
Begging mercies for their sins,
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings.
Oh lord, yeah!
--Black Sabbath, War Pigs

Your question is a bit confusing.

Speaking personally, I totally support the military.

I also support the need to stay in this war until Iraq is on her own.

Whether we should have gone or not, to leave now is to suborn terrorism.
