Yes they are refered to as courthouses, I`m sure in India is is spelled differently but the same thing. It is most likely pronounced differently to, my father was from India and he spoke 5 languages including English. In English Language it is definately called "Court".
Another famous word for it in widely Spoken Hindi language is
"Adaalat"
