I feel the same way about my house so I use Glade with the little fan you plug in the wall. The best smell is "clean linen", it a real fresh smell. And do you remember the first plug in's also by Glade, but these are the ones with the little gel packs you push into the plug in. They also have clean linen. I just changed all the ones in my house last night...not too many though if you have a really large room 2 on either side of the room will do but for a small room just one. Perfect for the bathroom too.

candles or simmering potpourri are probably the most intense aroma; however, if you're in a shop, you probably won't want the danger of anything burning.
There are rings that I buy, that attach to your lightbulbs, and they release an aroma when they are heated from the bulb.
The plug in scents are ok but some are too intense and make you gag. I love vanilla and bought some . When they were first plugged in, they were overpowering and lasted weeks. They were awful.
I used to be able to find scented wax chips that I kept in a pretty bowl, in my shop. They came in many scents and were wonderful. Haven't been able to find those in a long time.
Sprays are too short lasting.
Dried potpourri works for small areas and you can refresh with oils.

U can buy air-fresherners now, that release a scent, which changes every few mins.
I love the flowery 1's & they're V feminine.
But set on the lowest setting U don't want over-powering flowers!

attach a container with vanilla in it to the air vents. It is natural and safe for the environment.
