Jimmy Greaves every time, that's taking nothing from Micheal whom I first saw play in an England school boys at Wembley against a German school boy side. England won I think it was 2-0 or 2-1. You just knew Owen had something special.

But Greavesy I used watch him at white Hart Lane as young lad (me not him) he was something else

Well, Owen has Fooked his knee and the last I saw Jimmy Greaves was about 60. So I'd have to say neither would be of much use to either team, but I have to give an answer I'd have to say Greaves, atleast he can stand on his own two feet................................plus Owen is well over rated, Geaves was a proper striker, easliy as good a finisher as Owen, better skill and stronger, Owen would get knocked off the ball by Darren Fletcher for gods sake!

No contest. Jimmy Greaves was the best striker of all time. I read somewhere that Gordon Banks (one of the all time great goalkeepers) was asked what his secret was for making saves. He said that with nearly all footballers you could tell where the ball was going by how the player lined up his body and his eyes. He admitted that the one player he could not read was Jimmy Greaves.
