You mustn't go back in that room for at least 24hours. When you spray a room, all windows and doors closed shut and remain that way for about a day. Meanwhile you should not be anywhere near to smell those fumes! Go to a friend for the night.

i think a termite problem is better left for the professionals, who will do their thing and you'll have to leave for awhile
