ok, so i was just trying to use a tampon, and it was really hard, i think i put it in the wrong opening, i mean when i was putting it in it really hurt and when it was finally in it still hurted to i tried to put it more in but it wouldnt go, so could it be that i put it in the wrong place coz i know that females have an opening to urinate from and then there's the vagina so couldnt i have put it in the urinating one, and if i didnt how can i put it in now? because it wouldnt go through.

P.S: im a virgin, could that be the reason?

lol, it wouldnt fit in the area your pee from. That hole is teeny tiny. Get yourself a mirror so you can tell whats what down there.

If it didnt go in and hurt its because you either werent bleeding at the time (you need that blood to kinda lube the way) or else you were pushing it in from the wrong direction.

Your birthcanal slopes back towards your spine a little, you want to push in that direction more than just straight up. And dont bother putting a tampon in unless there is already blood from your period coming out.

Use the smalled tampon you can find, they make slimfits especially for teenage girls. and always use brands that have a plastic applicater, NOT cardboard.

Sit on the toilet, relax your body like you're going to pee, and insert the applicator in a towards-back and up direction until your fingers touch your skin. Push the punger in all the way, and pull the applicator out, leaving the tampon in place.

It takes a lot of practice to get used to it.

You cannot lose it up there, and you cannot push it too far in, i promise. Its not a hole up there, the sides of your vagina and birth canal touch eachother at all times, they actually hold the tampon in place. Your cervix always remains small, making it impossible for anything but liquid to enter or exit your uterus... including a tampon- it cannot get up there.

If it is in all the way you would hardly be able to touch it with your finger.

Wearing tampons does not affect your virginity. The hymen is not a barrier, its simple a ring of tight skin, and your tampon fits through that area without any problem.

You have to be relaxed, and you have to be bleeding, otherwise it will be uncomfortable putting one in. And because its uncomfortable you wont insert it all the way, and then it will be uncomfortable the whole time its in there.

So, to sum up:

Use the smallest (lightest absorbancy) tampon you can buy.

Always buy tampons with a plastic applicator.

Only insert a tampon when you're bleeding.

You must be relaxed to insert it properly.
