1.[2x^2+3x-6]
=[-3+/-rt(9+48)]/4
=[-3+/-rt(57)]/4

2.2y^2+y-1=2y^2+2y-y-1
=2y(y+1)-1(y+1)
=(2y-1)(y-1)

3.4x^2-3x-3=4x^2-4x+3x-3
=4x(x-1)+1(x-1)
=(x-1)(4x+1)

If you factor all of them together it is: 12x+5y-10

[(2x+5.275)(2x-2.275)] / [(2y-0.732)(2y+2.732)] for the first one...

[(2x-1.1375)(2x+2.6375)] for the second...

needless to say, the terms are rounded.....
