as long as a search warrant was issued by a judge, the swat team can basically dismantle your house and there is nothing you can do about it. also your homeowners insurance wont cover the damage. it doesnt matter if anyone is charged or even at home. the search warrant is their green light to do whatever they want.

I don't know about the door, but of course a fire truck can park in the fire lane. That's the whole point of the fire lane!

If the SWAT team breaks down your door, the state pays for it if it is for any reason OTHER than arresting the owner of the home. (Like you're a hostage in your own home or something.)

Fire trucks can park in the fire lane, as that is what the fire lane is meant for.

If people ask dumb questions, we all pay for it. :-(

No they do not. If you were not a dumbass they would not have to break your door down in the first place. Fire trucks are supposed to park in the fire lane. That is why it is there. Leave the comedy to the professionals. DUMBASS

if a swat team breaks your door they sure as hell are paying for it. and corrupt fire fighters will park anywhere they want, even the fire lane.

Not only will they pay for the door they'll be paying for your housing, food and clothing for next few years too. (In Jail of course!!) Fire trucks can theoretically park any ware when on call, if not only in the fire house but most city's wont ticket them anyway

I am not positive, but from what I saw on a Law and Order episode, I believe that if the police do do damage to your home such as breaking down a door, they are responsible for paying for the repair, but you are responsible for buying and installing the new door.

In some cases they do. If the entry is deemed illegal due to a defective warrant or an illegal action by a police officer. They would probably have to replace it but that would be a civil action and not a legal one I think, not sure.

S.W.A.T does not have to replace your door and the firelane is made for the fire trucks.
