Are the democrats just lucky that the Republicans seem to be the ones in power when we lose our wars?

I think it's because the Republicans like to start pointless wars (Vietnam, Iraq) in which they do not hold the moral high ground.

Really, we lost Iraq? When was this peace agreement reached?

Hmmm, what about the first Gulf War, aka Desert Storm?

Weren't the Democrats in charge when the conflict in Vietnam was escalated into the Vietnam War?

Wait, what about the Korean War? Wasn't Truman in charge? Oh wait, Eisenhower was elected in '52. The Korean War was declared more of a draw, although I believe many people reffered to the Korean War as the Korean Conflict or a Police Action.

Let's see FDR and Truman during WWII. Yep, they were both Democrats.

Who was President during WWI? What was his political affiliation?

Hmmm, Lincoln was a Republican and President during the Civil War. We won that one didn't we? Well I guess if you're from the South you lost, but what was Jefferson Davis' political affiliation?

Maybe next time you should do some research before hitting the Enter key... just a thought.

The Republicans did not lose the war in Vietnam and the US Military DID NOT LOSE THE WAR IN VIETNAM> The warin Iraq is not going to be lost either. BTW, the war in Vietnam was started by Democrats and was "lost" by all of the commie anti-war growd which included Hanoi Jane Fonda and Hanoi John "waffle" Kerry.

Vietnam was started by and perpetuated by Democrats. JFK started it in 1963 and it was escalated by Johnson. Nixon (a Republican) finally ended it.

Iraq is not lost, it is won. Saddam is gone, 25,000,000 people are free, and they have held free and Democratic elections.

Why don't Democrats know anything about history or facts or anything? Is it a requirement to join the party that you failed every subject in school and are completely ignorant?

Umm, which history book are you reading? Last time I checked, Kennedy and LBJ are the ones that started the whole Vietnam thing. Nixon was just the only one with enough balls to admit America had made a mistake.

I'm Vietnamese. We love peace and hate war. I can say that we won in the past because what we fought for is right: FREEDOM. We have the right to live and to be happy. As long as the purpose of that war is wrong in the way you did, you will never able to win. That's it, LOL.

This is one of the most ignorant statements I have seen on here and that is saying something. The Republicans got us out of Vietnam after Kennedy and LBJ screwed the pooch and got thousands of troops killed.

simply by fact the terrorists stated themselves, they're going to whilst the conflict in Iraq simply by fact individuals can not abdomen it. meaning if we've been to stay our course, we would win, yet all people is conscious that the liberals won't enable that from occurring. comparable component with Vietnam, liberal hundreds. the fact the Chavez holds up liberal rhetoric on the UN saying it extremely is a great e book that gave explains how u . s . a . of america is evil tells me that the liberals in this u . s . are very efficient at giving desire to our enemies.
