It's being selective with what you choose to believe, suspending your belief in science, facts, eye witness accounts, and picking and choosing fragments of the whole story to retain some element of mystery. It's being so intoxicated on hatred that you are willing to believe anything. There is evidence, but it is fragmentary, limited and when all placed together, it never stands up to the facts. The conspiracy theorists take much bigger leaps of faith than the documented official investigations do... They just can't stand to know the truth, and it fuels there ideal of chaos ruling the universe. They are intellectually weak, and refuse to believe anything that does not jibe with their own limited ability to understand the whole picture.

I don't believe in any of those and think they are ridiculous, except for maybe JFK's assassination... but he was assassinated and no one knows who did it... it's not like his death was some accident. I think it was probably the Russians, and that some people in the government knew that, but didn't want to start a war over it, because if the people knew that, they'd expect a war, and a war with Russia would have devastated this planet and both countries so it was best avoided.
The princess Diana and the twin tower theories really make me angry that anyone speaks such nonsense. I really hope nobody really believes that garbage. Did the government also attack the pentagon? Seriously, that is the most ridiculous theory out there, and I really hope it dies with other misinformation/propaganda that has been perpetuated through the years.

I'm fascinated with conspiracy theories, and love reading about them. However, I think I'm pretty level headed.
Therefore (after much deliberation) I have concluded that:
Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy (alone)
Princess Diana died in an accident
Man DID go to the moon
Marilyn Monroe died of a self-inflicted overdose (although I think that there was a cover-up regarding people who may have been in her home that night ie: Bobby Kennedy)
Those are the first ones that spring to mind.

Conspiracy theories are, in my opinion, BS. Its just groups of people that want to cause problems so they start all of these rumors that other people start to believe. I am not saying that all of these "conspiracy theories" are false but I would say that the majority of them are just BS, and are just brought about to cause problems to the parties they are about.

First choice it is a monumental ****-up, second it is a conspiracy. Often it is a ****-up and a conspiracy to save face. So it is both.
