i think having ppl u can click with(friends) is important. Dwelling in ur lonesome sucks. And i should know, i've experienced it. We are social creations, everything in the way we are created speakes of interaction. It's great having ppl u can hang with, talk to and share ur feelings with. it makes us feel good in the inside, its fulfilling, its comforting. I guess it doesnt matter whether u have 1 or heaps of mates, 1 true friend can really make life feel complete. if in a relationship, i would say my partner would have to be my best friend, my emotional, physical and spiritual confidant. At least, i hope that she will be some day. Yes we need friends! it's not good for one to be alone. Right now we can be referred as distant friends, y cause we r interacting freely, without prejudice, but in tolerance. In love and respect for each other. something that we all need.

Firends are one of the most important "things" that a person can have in their life. Your family should come first, but friends should be next on your list.
With whom else can you discuss your personal problems?
With whom else will you escape to do "your own thing" every now and then?
On who esle can you depend when emergencies strike?
My wife is my best friend, but I think that I would feel quite incomplete, if I did not have other friends, too.
What kind of a person would I be without my friends? I think I would be afraid of a person with no friends.

Well I'm not a guy but I think it depends on the friend my sister has been my best friend all my life has always been there for me and me for her

Actually it has been proven and in fact is definately most important cancer patients with friends tend to live longer than those who are alone. same goes for the healthy...
