I call it passive terrorism. Most of them are trying so hard to get their three dollar commission that you can't politely get rid of them. I just started saying: "Eat more beef!" and hanging up.

Yes. I am annoyed by telemarketers in general and those telemarketers from overseas are particularly frustrating. I really dislike it when they assume an "American" name like "Susie" yet can barely speak English. I would rather they just use their given names, or better yet, just not call.

Okay,
A few ways of tackling his. If you are a Idea mobile user then you can go to their website www.ideacellular.com and click on the 'contact us' tab. Here you will see a 'Do Not Disturb' feature which you can turn and even 'Idea' will not bother with their new offers/plans etc.
The second way to do it is more time consuming. Contact the local office of whoever calls you and request them to take them off their list.
The final way i to be down-right rude & abusive to the person whocalls you and maybe they will get the message :)

The funny thing is they really think they are fooling us into believing they're in our country. I do feel sorry for then though they 're just trying to earn a $.Its those big companies that take all our jobs offshore so they can earn multi milloion $ profits every year that should be boycotted.

more and more telco's and businesses are sending their it and info services overseas. It really would be good if they would teach their operators english before letting them loose on unsuspecting customers.
