Music can be inspiring... but mainly it just takes the edge off the day for me...
Especially when you have gone through some sort of hard time in your life and someone has written a song about it to excellent music and just nailed it on the head! That really gets me!

Music is very important to JoBu in many ways. One, they say it soothes the savage beast. If I have a bad day, I cna put something mellow on to calm my nerves a bit. When I am ready to hit the gym to let out aggression, I need loud Metallica, and Linkin Park music. Music shapes our emotions and our being.

for me, music is everything. a hum you can not get out of your mind. a memory that comes up when a special song is heard, the beat that makes your body move, a wake up call, a motivation at work.
