They probably do have the best team in baseball right now. But they have to win the WS one series at a time and they will face either the Twins or the Tigers most likely in the first series, then either the As or Central Division winner (again, either the Twins or the Tigers). I think either way they are going to have to beat both the Twins and the Tigers to get to the WS (I'm leaving the As out, which could be a mistake with the way Thomas has been hitting lately). Then if the Yankees do win the AL, they will likely have the Mets waiting for them in the WS. If the Yankees win it all, it will be because they had the better team and they performed in the clutch.

The New York reporters are too rash. The Yankees are almost always good and right now are dangerous. I wonder if those reporters had the Yankees backing into the playoffs too... They may even earn the No.1 seed... Either way, they still have to play the games and may the best team win!

Different team in the last 3. They compare what they have to the other teams and on paper they are the best team. Stop reading and watch the games these guys don't know anymore than you do. They just have a place to write down their opinions where people see it.

With pretty much everyone back from the DL the Yanks should definitely take it all this year...They have the best line up in baseball and if everyone plays at their best, NO ONE can touch them...But no one can really guarentee anything, so it's absolutely about winning one game at a time....I am so excited to watch this post-season!

The NY Yankees are the winningest team of all time. Period. As to whether they will win this one, you have to wait and see (hint).
