Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but
I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels (non-believers) of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven.

I'm NOT saying MY God is better than their God. Are you people really that stupid? READ THE QUESTION. Do you dispute the Quaran and Allah telling the Muslims to KILL the infidels? That IS MY POINT! Man, I can't believe how friggin' idiotic some people are.

I think you are right on... I DO listen to Jesus, after all, he died on the cross for us, I don't hear of Catholic priests and/or the mighty Allah doing anything like that. It does in fact say in the Quran "death to all non-believers" and that basically means Christians and Jews. I've said it before and I'll say it again, that's not just for the radical Muslims either, it's for all of them, if they truly believe in their faith. I knew someone married to a Muslim (she a Christian, I'll never understand THAT) and he straight up told her, when it comes time for the end of the world, you will be nothing to me but a non-believer (if she didn't convert) and I will be forced to do to you what I'll do to all non-believers, should the end of the world come in our time. Now, how is that non-violent? is it peaceful? NO! Jesus is the way, the truth, the light, always!!!! God Bless you all...

As a non Muslim, it is unfair for me to answer the question whether I will kill non believers to get to heaven. I am not sure if this is a command of Allah. If it is, I would need the basis for this quote from the Koran or other acceptable teachers of the Islamic faith. If there is, there could be a possibility of misinterpreting the thoughts and words of Allah who is also the same God of Christians. I am sure that Allah is also benevolent and kind and does no harm to civilians and children who do no harm to his believers.
As a Christian, I would listen to Jesus to love our enemies, whether Muslims or non Muslims. Love is expressed in many ways such as helping them if they suffer in catastrophies and misfortunes in life, and other means I could help.
I don't think there is truth to the rumor that the Pope has told Catholics to start killing Muslims or non believers or infidels. He just quoted the words of a bygone emperor. To condemn the Pope for the words of another man is a bit extreme. Defenders of the Muslim faith must argue that the quoted emperor was wrong and should state why he was wrong. If discussions on this possible erroneous quote from the emperor is fostered, there will be understanding and reconciliation between Muslims and Christians. That is the aim I think of Pope Benedict.

I don't believe that Allah told anyone to go out and kill non believers and I'm sure the Pope would never tell catholics to kill non believers

Why do Christians think their silly religion is the less violent religion, need I remind you of the Crusades, and the bombing of abortion clinics.
